Long Arm Quilting Pricing
No Extra Charge for Thread. I use Omni Thread. Lots of colors and patterns to choose from. You may supply your own batting. Once received, your quilt top can be ready within 2 weeks. Mimi’s Quilts and More does offer mail orders.
Quilt top preparation:
PLEASE READ
• Backing MUST be SQUARE and EVEN
• Backing MUST be at least 4” larger than quilt top on EACH side – 8” TOTAL
• If you supply the batting, it MUST be the same size as the backing
• All threads MUST be TRIMMED or they may show through later
• Backing and quilt top need to be pressed
• T-shirt quilts ONLY get a large meander and they can pucker
• Tight quilting starts at .2 per square inch due to the complexity of the design.
*** Minky and Fleece backing will not be accepted. They are excessively stretchy, can create difficulty when loading and may cause folds or tucks in your quilt.
*** Please remember that any puckers and fullness cannot be hidden in the quilting, but every effort will be made to accentuate the work you have created.

Binding:
I also provide a Binding service.
- You provide the binding fabric. Binding will be machine sewn on the front and back with mitered corners for .25 cents per linear inch.
- If you would like me to attach your finished quilt label to your quilt, please be sure to include it with the binding fabric. There is no additional cost for me to attach your finished quilt label.

Quilt Trimming:
If I am not binding your quilt when completed, the Quilt can be trimmed for a price of $10. Please be sure to note that on your order.

I can ship via UPS or USPS ground with insurance. Shipping costs can vary depending on location.

Terms of Agreement: Please know that I will always try to make sure your quilt turns out beautifully. There may be times that the end result is not quite what you had planned, but I can't be held responsible for expectations that have not been communicated clearly. There also could be a very rare occasion when the longarm machine malfunctions and possibly damages a quilt. I will let you know immediately if there is a problem and will do my best to make it right. I appreciate your understanding.
